Irrigation Installations

Irrigation and proper winterization is extremely important on Cape Cod, especially for seasonal homes.

This is a basic irrigation system setup that is hooked up to the town water supply. A licensed plumber will cut into your existing water line inside the house just past the water meter or main shut off. From there we recommend 1´ copper pipe to start into that first fitting called a ball valve. That´s the one with the yellow handle on it in the picture to the left. He will continue to install all the rest of the copper fittings including the back-flow preventer shown here. We install the rest of the gray fittings see here and accessories to complete your irrigation system.

This is a typical air compressor for winterization of your irrigation system. This will blow out all the water in the lines so that they will not freeze and crack the pipes during winter months.
